Unwanted Words

Unwanted Words is happy to come back with the series of Queer Poetry Nights in Rotterdam after a while, this time for a special summer edition at WORM on Saturday July 22nd.

Unwanted Words is an award-winning platform for up & coming queer voices in poetry & spoken word. Our Queer Poetry Nights was our first event series in our mission to create safer space for queer expression and to encourage all queer voices to take the mic and share their literary work.

We will showcase a line-up of 4-5 performers and finish up with an open mic. Most forms of literary expression are allowed, such as spoken word, poetry, op-eds, drama, performances, as long as the speakers commit to comply with the 10 minute maximum allocated time per performer of the line-up and one piece per open mic performer.
