Sonosphere is a new monthly pilot series dedicated to avant-garde sounds, initiated by radio maker and musician, Lucija Gregov. Lucija: "I think of Sonosphere as a soothing sonic-bath-solution for an easily distracted mind. A bit introverted maybe, but one where you can dive into atmospheric and stimulating ambient sounds, enigmatic avant-garde and minimal compositions or experimental expeditions!"

We at WORM are very excited about this, and we hope to settle the night down on a Sunday in 2022. Imagine, what a way to finish or start the week. For now, watch out for the dates in our calendar.

The first edition presents:

FUJ|||||||||||TA

A Japanese sound artist and pipe organ builder who is driven by his ‘desire to hear unheard sounds’. While his music for pipe organ is focused on exploring idiosyncratic qualities of the pipe and themes of air and breath, in his rich field recording work, Fujita puts elements like raw meat on a microphone, to capture "the sounds of a mountain and wings of a fly". AMOSPHÈRE

AMOSPHÈRE dives into questions of time, space, cosmology, human perception and psycho-physical effects through sonic meditations. She is a visual artist and a poet who in her musical practice combines different analogue synths and sound machines that "make spirit and mind get out of our bodies and travel to other planets."
