Slice It Up

Slice it up “The Afrofuturistic session” the place for live music and night culture. We’ll dive into sounds from the motherland and her afro diaspora. This event is all about community, experiment, interaction and improvisation it’s a collab between musicians, creatives dancers and music lovers.

Slice it up is an afrofuturistic and interactive journey. The sessions are based on appealing afrogrooves. Step into the portal to travel with Afrobeats, hip-hop, jazz, amapiano & soul to different decades and locations. The perfect medicine to boost your vibrations and get away from the hustle and bustle.

The night is hosted by Kay Slice and opened by Kay Slice and band. Together they’ll experiment with new work (future), reimagine existing work (present and past) and improvise on the spot (future, past, present). When the tone is set the session will be open for vocalists, poets and instrumentalists. There are no rules just a mantra “go with the flow & slice it up
