Schande #4 – Release Event

Schande is a Rotterdam based lifestyle/gossip/picture magazine for the Rotterdam arts scene. This publication has no interest in art itself and only focuses on the private lives of artists.
Tonight we will present the 4th edition.

Dalin Waldo + Joakim Moesgaard:
Melody of Gugi is the musical project of the two Dadaistic artists: Dalin Waldo and Joakim Moesgaard. Together they challenge all the old ways of intelligent dance music and in this process, they create a new genre, Adventurecore. With self-made analogue touch synthesizers, crazy computer compositions, danish translated pop songs, and big, BIG arm movements. Their practice often includes critical commentaries on Danish politics. Melody of Gugi is taking back Dadaism and giving you something you have never seen before.

Philipp Ernsting:
Rotterdam-based drummer Philipp Ernsting will perform a solo set at the Schande release party. He incorporates electronics in his drum work and creates a big sonic spectacle that will drag the audience into a void of sound.

Johanna Monk
Johanna Monk (Schande #4 cover girl) is a queer writer, noise/improv musician and performance artist based in Rotterdam
