Rotterdam Left Orbit (RLO) is for artists who are involved with the free improv electronic scene in Rotterdam. The nights are based round a concert and a jam session afterwards. Analogue and digital electronics form the basis for these (multidisciplinary) improvisations. Influences range from jazz, rock, noise, ambient, soundtracks and other styles.

We start with a jam session, then a concert of 45 minutes. Afterwards the stage will be open for people to play.

Slovenian in Rotterdam Elvis Homan graduated from Codarts. He is a drummer, composer and electronic artist and also part of quartet Quartzite 4tet, a member of The Celestial Turkey (with Stefan Lievestro) and – for RLO – your genial host!
