O. LAB: SIRIANA, MIJN VRIENDIN
Muziektheatermaker Karlijn Hamer toont de eerste schetsen van haar nieuwe werk: Siriana, mijn vriendin. Een muzikale installatie en performance in één over haar vriendschap met Siriana. Haar oude basisschool hartsvriendin kreeg op haar 30e een late autisme diagnose. Dit bracht veel voor haar aan het licht. Aan de hand van herinneringen aan hun kindertijd en de vriendschap van nu, neemt Karlijn je mee in de binnenwereld van iemand met autisme. Een plek voor en van Siriana. Een voorstelling die een voor onze maatschappij vaak onzichtbaar perspectief zichtbaar maakt, en een leven met autisme bij vrouwen meer onder de aandacht brengt.
Onderzoeksvraag: Ervaar je of herken je als kijker hoe het is om autistisch te zijn?

Lab in WORM is one big creative space and you will be sitting in the front row as the processes unfold!
