Mueran Humanos (ARG)

Mueran Humanos consists of Carmen Burguess (vocals, drum machine, moog synth, samplers) and Tomas Nochteff (vocals, bass, MPC, tapes) who together make propulsive, unfurling Spanish language songs. Both were born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Vocals are shared by both members, and they create an important dichotomy between the feminine and masculine energies that shape the band. Spanish speakers are in luck, because the lyrics are surrealist poetry of the highest order. Thankfully for the rest of us, they occupy that special place reserved for bands like Einsturzende Neubauten, (Jochen Arbeit of EN actually appeared on the band’s second full length “Miseress”), or Os Mutantes where they transcend language barriers and are capable of telling a story through the sheer power of the human voice. There is something magical about this band, and it oozes out through the cracks every chance it gets.

SAJJRA (PE)

Sajjra’s sound has the atmosphere of the slow and heavy Andean processions, keeping the spirit of their traditional music ensembles. But Sajjra also expresses the mesmeric feelings, that reflect his birth-town Lima. His Andean tropical psychedelia fascinated the Peruvian alternative media, who chose Sajjra’s LPs The Sun Remains The Same (Aloardi / Fougere Musique, 2015) and Synthexcess (Buh, 2019) as albums of the year. Sounds that call forth the resonance of Andean brass orchestras or of sublime landscapes. They emanate textures and rhythms that evoke urban and rural soundscapes mutating in epiphanies full of noise, colour and trance.

NOTE! Youth tickets are for YOUTH up to 18 y/o, not oldies! If your can’t prove you are “underage” you can’t come in!
