Livestream: Masego Sound System Workspace Session #3 – Yawenta Children’s Center

Yes-I Kings and Queens. Saturday the 28th of November we’ll play a live stream session straight from the Masego workspace. Enjoy our homebase vibes and tune in at 20.30 for some serious uplifting roots and dub straight into your living room!

In these times of COVID-19 and serious tension in Ethiopia, we thought it is time to support the great works of Yawenta Children’s Center again. While the world is on fire, the warriors of the Yawenta team are still fighting for the future of their beautiful children. What a heart-breaking and lifesaving mission! We are very happy we received the news that the centre continued their works after the first COVID wave, but they need our financial support more than ever! So please tune in next Saturday and let your heart speak.

Yawenta Children’s Center, once started by the Rasta community from Shashamane, takes care of 130 vulnerable children who are left on their own. Most of these children are infected with HIV and won’t survive without the support given at the centre. They receive free medical and psychosocial support next to free meals and education.
