FLOW 2023 is a practice–based research symposium (in-person or online), based round performance art workshops with globally renowned practitioners. The symposium is a collaboration between Out of Site Chicago (USA) and WORM Rotterdam. From 11-22 September, 13 performance artists from around the globe will present their practice via a live stream.
WORM organizes watchparties on 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and the double presentation on 21 September! Entrance: Boomgaardsstraat 69 (UBIK space)
Each artist will be introduced, followed by a performative lecture, and concluded with a conversation. Invest in your practice and connect internationally! You can find all lecture descriptions here.
The Third lecture will be a presentation by Becs Epstein on apologies to plants. Epstein is a queer Chicago-based transdisciplinary artist working in sculpture, performance, video, painting, and installation. Her art uses satire and earnestness to dig into people’s relationships with plants. Read more about the lecture here!
