African rhythms reverberate around the world, influencing genres in all corners of the globe. Anda celebrates the long history of African influence in electronic music, spinning cutting edge sounds from the continent, it’s diaspora and beyond.

ANDA celebrates the long history of African influences on electronic music. You’ll hear a wide range of rhythmic and progressive tracks. Think of genres like Batida, UK Funky, Kuduro, Gqom, Baile Funk and more. Expect percussive cutting edge tunes where Electronic music blend together with the sound of Africa and her diaspora.

One of ANDA’s goals is a multidisciplinary program that brings music, live performances and art together. Besides DJ’s, live percussion is provided by Ceciel Moyano, photography exhibits telling the history of percussion instruments and synthesizers stranded on the coasts of Cabo Verde’s islands, and enjoy Malambo Tonka’s live African Dance Performances.
