Piet Zwart Institute Alumni Interviews and Panel Discussion

19:00 – 23:00 with – an afterparty full of special guests until 01:00

 
Students of Lens Based Media (LB) and Experimental Publishing (XPUB) along with
Niek Hilkmann are hosting the third edition of Alumni Illuminata. Current students will
interview alumni of the Piet Zwart Institute.
 
Current Masters students will speak with practitioners whose work illuminates their own.
They will explore together the affinities and resonances in what they do and how they navigate being artists, filmmakers, writers, designers, performers, educators, and chefs. A round table discussion hosted by Steve Rushton will pave the way for an afterparty of friends, current and past staff, alumni, current, and future students.

Aitana López Rodrigo is a Spanish audiovisual artist with a background in painting and sculpture.
Arabella Turner is an artist and filmmaker from the UK, currently based in Rotterdam.
Jingfeng Shen is a somnolent explorer from China.
Nihal Goel is a visual maker and coder based in Amsterdam.
Riviera Taylor is a live coder, Emacs enthusiast, and everyday Linux user from the UK.
Rodolfo Ferro is a Portuguese architect and visual artist currently based in Rotterdam.
Stephen Kerr is a graphic designer or a musician or a very, weird and long dream.
Tesse Baardman is an audiovisual artist floating between Brussels and Rotterdam.
Yana Lineva is a Bulgarian animator, photographer, and filmmaker.
