Introducing the Ask for Angela campaign!

In 2022 and early 2023 WORM was hit with a wave of complaints about sexual harassment. We decided to step up and get to the bottom of it all.

Hence the Ask for Angela campaign!

What to do?

Ask for Angela is a secret code for help. If you’re feeling unsafe, vulnerable, or threatened at our venue, just quietly approach one of our awesome bar staff members and say “Angela.” That’s the signal that you need assistance. Once a person uses the catchphrase, bar staff will signal a kastelein (floor manager) or bedrijfsleider (general manager). They will take care of the situation.

We’ve got your back.

To spread the word, we’ll be placing informative posters around the building, making sure you’re in the know when you need it most. Plus, keep an eye out for the coasters at Wunderbar!

Let’s make WORM a safe and inclusive space for everyone! Together, we can kick harassment to the curb!
