Yamuna Forzani Fashion Show

You are cordially invited to the climax of The Angel Delight Fashion Show by Yamuna Forzani at WORM. This event will be a theatrical experience transforming the space into a magical queer fairy tale. Forzani will showcase her latest collection with a set design by Giovanni Palmieri, embodied by The Kiki House of Angels and friends.

Yamuna Forzani is a storyteller, through knitwear she creates her utopian world, representing the individual universes and personalities of her community, this collection will be presented in three different moods. Her slow-changing knitwear designs aim at creating an ‘aesthetics of slowness’, a practice that is based on a sustainable way of fashion production. Her unique colourful jacquard knitted fabrics are produced and developed at the Textile Museum in Tilburg. Working in collaboration with the Textile Museum has deepened her knowledge of knitwear and technical textiles. Expect a joyous explosion of colourful psychedelic textiles, delightfully offered to you by The Angels in this celebratory moment- not to be missed!!

Yamuna Forzani is a multidisciplinary artist and designer from the UK, who graduated from The Royal Academy of Art. She is also a member of the ballroom scene as a member of Rotterdams Kiki House of Angels and internationally a member of the House of Comme Des Garcons. The first Utopia Ball x Fashion Show took place in 2018 in the Hague.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION ABOUT SEATING:

Only presale tickets are available, so make sure to book in advance. The timeslots for the fashion show are 15 minutes. You can walk through the live fashion show, then you will be guided to another area of WORM where you can grab a drink and watch the performance unfold on the big screen. You can stay and chill in this area seated for up to 1 hour. This is due to corona measures however the atmosphere will remain extremely enjoyable and magic.
