Five years following the director’s passing, the family of OZAWA Kikuno has connected with CAMERA JAPAN to offer an exclusive presentation of a unique, low-budget avant-garde live-action/animation hybrid gem of a film.

"Spaghetti Ramen" is a paranoid fever dream, following a struggling and sexually frustrated restaurateur/author who becomes consumed by desire for his neighbor. Simultaneously, his young daughter’s imagination takes flight, weaving daydreams featuring a godlike praying mantis, turtles conversing in French, and meandering eyeballs. These surreal visions impart a crucial message: the universe’s salvation rests solely in her hands.
