Snackbar is a night where musicians and music lovers can meet up after a long, bitter hiatus. Minds are clearing, spirits are lifting. Music is our weapon.
Sounds from the otherground are served with the following sauces (optional): Improv, Rauw, Nieuw, Anders.
We are delighted to present some fresh perspectives on sound and pop with not a Sint in sight. So please welcome:
Australian sound artist Sia Ahmad and Scottish saxophonist Raymond MacDonald play live at WORM! Expect a "a boundless sonic environment" populated by free, but melodic improvisation, guitar tones, woodwind textures and delicate electronics. The pair have worked with the likes of Jim O’Rourke, Liars, David Byrne and Gwenno among others.

Formed in 2020, this intriguing Basque group make a sound they call ‘violent pop’. What we listeners and onlookers experience is "emotional" electronica with organic passages, melodic hooks and heaps of attitude. Lyrics deal with "the internal battle to be oneself in our current society". What could be better?
