ARTISTS PRESENTING:
RADVLAD
RADVLAD is the artistic moniker of Macedonian-born, Rotterdam-based multimedia artist Vladimir Vidanovski (1996). His work deals with the flux of identity and truth as a result of the manipulative properties of the image and digital media, and how image culture circulates and evolves during digital times.
His practice involves building worlds and creating characters through photography, motion imagery, sound, CGI and performance. With this, he tells stories often stemming from his own memories, desires and observations from his Online wanderings. This results in works that question reality by using technological advancements, identity politics, queerness, and the vastness of the human mind as motives.
He obtained his BA of Design in the photography department of the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. In 2024 he was granted the Artist Start grant from Mondriaan Fund. In 2021 he was selected and given the Steenbergen Stipendium honorary mention award for his graduation work in Nederlands Fotomuseum Rotterdam. Other awards include the Emerging Talent and Audience Award for his film Two Bird with One Stone at Queer Film Festival Utrecht 2024, made with Elio Troullakis, and a prize for his short film Point me to Utopia at Roots Film Festival The Hague 2020.

In their work, they are interested in and work with knowledge production and sharing, community building, & the wild spaces, disobedience and inclusivity offered by queer modalities of being.
WORKS PRESENTED
hey what’s up you guys (performance)
Hey, what’s up you guys? Welcome back. Don’t forget to smash the like button. Speaking of, would you smash me? Do you even like me? What if I talk like James Charles in the Tati apology video? Do you like me now? What if I walk like that one blonde girl with the botched makeover in America’s Next Top Model Cycle 16? Do you wanna f* me now? Smize. Oh… my God, you guys. I’m like…scared. What is going on? Where am I? I’m only 12. Anyway, I’ll see y’all next week, thanks for watching, bye!
Necrosis (performance)
Necrosis is a performance by C’Cesirhe Sedney that uses the deserted figure to enter the cracks of a stagnant social and political world. Through a suicide, staged via Michael Jackson and Black pop culture, the work enters a ritual, moving into a deeper layer of social structures, its subconscious and its will to freedom. Butoh, pop music and surinam winti practices set up a dialogue within the body, and the work asks who dances, who speaks and who gets danced.
Swamp Play (screening)
Rony and Banky are enjoying a quiet evening at home, when all of a sudden a distraction on the TV will change their lives forever.
