Singing Club of Rotterdam invites you to join WORM sessions
The Singing Club of Rotterdam is an experimental vocal group initiated in early 2019. We come together every other week to explore what can be done with the voice together. As a part of a new collaborative project with WORM we’re looking for people interested in gathering, snacking, and singing with us.
We’ll be at WORM every other Monday, between 17.00 – 19.00 — that is…Sep 13, Sep 27, Oct 11, Oct 25, Nov 8, Nov 22, Dec 6 & Dec 20.
The Singing Club is open for everybody to become a member, no experience is needed. Our repertoire is made from members’ contributions and includes vocal warm-ups, songs, tonal meditations; and also physical, theatrical and mental exercises. In the past two years club favorites have been f.ex. Collective Memory Singing, in which members try to sing a (popular) song together from memory and then jam with parts of the composition, and Rotterdam Sounds, in which everyday sounds from Rotterdam life are vocalized into a soundscape together.
Sessions last two hours, bring your voice, bring a snack 🙂
