Rotterdam Left the Orbit Session: March

Rotterdam Left Orbit (RLO) is for artists who are involved with the free improv electronic scene in Rotterdam. The nights are based round a concert and a jam session afterwards.

Analogue and digital electronics form the basis for these (multidisciplinary) improvisations. Influences range from jazz, rock, noise, ambient, soundtracks and other styles. Slovenian in Rotterdam, Elvis Homan, is your genial host: Elvis graduated from Codarts. He is a drummer, composer and electronic artist and also part of quartet Quartzite 4tet, a member of The Celestial Turkey (with Stefan Lievestro).

"Core" Line up:

Giovanni Iacovella – drums / Fx. Giovanni is one of the hottest electronic drummers at the Conservatorium of Amsterdam. We think what he does is really fresh.

Teis Semey – Guitar/FX. Modern guitarist and also electronic wizard based in Amsterdam, he will make his magic on guitar and knobs.
