Canoas di Caribe and 6 ISLANDS zine have teamed up to bring you the slumber party of your QUEER DREAMS!
Queer Dreams is a Caribbean party that aims to cater to Queer Caribbean communities. Our aim is to create safer spaces for us by us to be able to have a great time without having to compromise our full identity.

So invite all your friends, get your best PJs out and let’s do each other’s makeup and dance the night away!

PARTY GUIDELINES

Age
18 years or older to enter. ID check at the door !!

No cameras
We want to encourage everyone to lock up your phones in the available lockers provided by WORM. We want to respect everyone’s privacy who chooses to attend this party. We will have photographers who will be taking snaps upon request!

Lockers
WORM has available lockers to store your important belongings. A locker costs 2 euros.

Photobooth
To help ensure everyone’s privacy, we will set up a fun area where you can take pictures without risking taking someone else’s picture without you or them knowing.

Safety
Our aim is to create a safer space for everyone to party and have fun. If at any point you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, you can come up to any of us or call/text us on one of the following numbers: [tel nr?] we’ll have our phones on LOUD and are always available to talk. [picture of us]

Communal room for makeup and dressup
WORM will have a space available for community members to be able to dress up and put on makeup. This space will be open from 10pm to 1am. Afterwards you can place your stuff in the lockers to keep them safe!

Consent, consent, consent
Let’s all let loose and have fun with each other! But always ask for consent first 😉 the more explicit the better. Anything less than an enthusiastic YES does not count as consent.

Shared space with Wunderbar
While the party will take place in a separate area, bathrooms will still be shared with Wunderbar.

There’s no designated smoking area, please go outside if you want to have a smoke
