Pirate Stitching Club May 2026

🌪️ Feeling overwhelmed by politics? Looking for a way to stay updated without feeling like it’s too much? Or do you love to stitch and want to get more connected to political movements and your community?

Then join in on May 17th from 16:00 to 19:00 for a special edition of the Pirate Stitching Club in collaboration with The Political Comforter! 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

The Political Comforter is a workshop at the intersection of craft and politics. In a cozy group setting we discuss politics and what’s going on in our communities while making little quilt blocks that will be used for a collaborative community quilt. Join in for a more relaxed way to take in the news and meet people in your community.

🧶 All materials and supplies are provided, but you’re always welcome to bring any fabrics or sewing tools you like.
No quilting experience is needed, we can teach you everything you need to know to make a quilt block. All we ask is you bring an open and respectful attitude.
