ZUAM is een irrationeel protest tegen de hypocrisie en het kwaad in deze wereld, de rituelen rondom leven en dood, geboorte en ouderdom die aan de taal voorbijgaan. Een heidense cyberpunk-vertelling vol mystiek en terreur, hallucinogene trip en zuiverende catharsis inéén. Vocaal ensemble, elektronica en multimedia met als leidraad het verhaal van een oeroude cyber tribe die in een onbekende wereld en realiteit leeft, ergens halverwege de prehistorie en een verre toekomst.

Over O. Lab
De kraamkamer van muziektheater van morgen. Een kijkje in de repetitieruimtes van theatermakers is normaal voorbehouden aan een select gezelschap. O. Lab zet de deuren open! Makers presenteren works-in-progress en laten prototypes zien van voorstellingen. Bezoekers kunnen hun waardevolle mening hierover delen met de kunstenaars. O. Lab in WORM is één grote creative space en jij zit op de eerste rij van het maakproces.

ZUAM is an irrational protest against the hypocrisy and evil in this world, the rituals surrounding life and death, birth and old age that ignore language. A pagan cyberpunk tale full of mysticism and terror, a hallucinogenic trip and purifying catharsis all rolled into one. A vocal ensemble, electronics and multimedia, guided by the story of an ancient cyber tribe that lives in an unknown world and reality, somewhere halfway between prehistory and a distant future.

What is O.Lab
O. Lab is the nursery for tomorrow’s musical theatre. A look into the rehearsal rooms of theatre makers is normally reserved for a select group. O. Lab opens these doors! Makers present works-in-progress and show prototypes of performances. Visitors can share their own opinions with the artists. O. Lab in WORM is one big creative space and you sit in the front row of the creative process.
