A performance blending 16mm film, sound loops, music, and spoken word. In collaboration with Mariëtte Groot, Janeiro creates a rich soundscape that moves fluidly from karaoke recordings and breathing exercises to synths and acoustic instruments. The visuals depict everyday social life, interwoven with sudden, inexplicable mysteries, drawing on gothic themes, with transformation and death as central elements. These are portrayed in a raw, visceral way, heightening the piece’s unsettling yet playful atmosphere.

Multimedia artist and audiovisual producer Sabiwa works with sounds and visuals from natural and synthetic sources, experimenting to create abstract and complex patterns. In Birth of everything from 無, she invites spectators to drift alongside her. Together, we move through a forgotten land of creatures and objects that have lost their purpose. looking for the light that will help illuminate what we see and feel, Sabiwa’s voice as the guiding path along this sensory journey.
