Festival Downtown x RSCW Day 1
Festival Downtown (DWNTWN) presents exciting, new electronic music at unique locations in the centre of Rotterdam. DWNTWN boasts serious, international headliners but also firmly believes in its own local (Rotterdam) scene. Not only does it showcase local artists, every location is programmed together with one or several other organisers that represent their own niche and scene.
This year the festival is taking place on the 9th and 10th September and presents our sickest line-up so far. On both days WORM will be the home of Festival Downtown by night with a diverse programme of electronic and electronic-inspired music.
Friday 9 September
Upstairs DWNTWN has something really special in store for you. Together with On Track Agency and future legend SUBFICTION DWNTWN put together a line-up that’s so freakin’ awesome we can barely believe it ourselves. Line up: Dorian Concept, TEEBS, Panda Lassow, DirtyDMS, and Beau Zwart B2B Sykes. The reason for this special get together is to celebrate the release of the first EP by SUBFICTION. This mysterious upcoming live-act will also be performing this on stage this evening.
Downstairs you’ll find the stage curated together with Ampfeminine and Eight 5ive. Expect a bunch of upcoming exclusively non-male line-up dj’s that will get you through the night. On this stage there are sets of heroes in the alternative scenes LYZZA (BR), M I M I (BE) and Juba (DE) together with upcoming local talent Dey.Rey. And of course the members of Ampfeminine we’ll rock this stage as well.
