FEM FEST 2025: Reflect, Regenerate

An evening with live music and dialogue
Talk - Fri 7 March 2025
WORM Rotterdam
Start → 20:30
End → 23:30

Fem Fest 2025 presents their artist in focus: Jimena Maldonado, Mexican composer based in The Hague. Her piece "Taboo" was inspired by a social media storm, before #MeToo even: #MyFirstHarassment. It will be presented in a new arrangement with four live performers.

The performance will also resonate with the discussion part, bringing in our social focus of this edition: gender-based violence. Meant to listen for your questions, your stories, your perspectives. Everyone is invited to listen, think, and speak and will be guided by two experienced facilitators:

We want to bring together people who may not usually attend WORM events and our WORM locals too, the best discussion comes with mutliple perspectives.

Today you can also get a feminist tattoo that lasts for a week, made by Lulendo from TB Manifesto in Brussels.
