**POSTPONED** EVERYDAY PEOPLE KIKI FUNCTION: THE ROTTERDAM REBOOT
The Everyday People Kiki Function is back! Originally created in 2016 by the (former) Kiki House of Flying Daggers, it made its debut in Paris but quickly found its home in Amsterdam for four more successful editions.
To celebrate the opening of the new post-pandemic era of the Dutch Kiki scene, we’ve decided to bring Everyday People back for a Rotterdam Reboot, taking our favorite categories & themes from previous editions and adding a few new surprises.
The Everyday People Kiki Function will be a voguing competition.

– Line up! First come, first served.
– If you get called out, you can’t be called out again.

– After the last call out, all the winners will battle it out for the trophy.

A new category pioneered by our very own Mystique Angels.
You are a gifted poet. Amaze the judges and the audience with some beautiful words about the chosen theme: Optimism. Your outfit must be inspired by the themes you choose to speak about. You can use your own poetry, or quote from an existing poet/author. Each piece must be 45 seconds max. After that, the mic will fade out, so be prepared or GAGGG! And make sure you have enough material for the battles! 🗣️📜

You are ready to open a block party with your act, you are looking cute and have everybody’s attention…. but you are not the only one! Other artists have lined up and are also prepared to deliver! There will be no individual 10’s; you must outshine whoever you meet in front of the judges’ panel. Entice the judges and the audience with your total performance, bring it like a true lip-syncing diva that tells a story with her each gesture and look. And mind you, a true artist never forgets lyrics. 🎤🎶🎵
