WORM Rotterdam
WORM Central Station
Doors → 19:30
Start → 20:00

Three fascinating acts who skirt the boundaries of pop, improv, classical and alternative electronics.

Tashi Dorji (BTN/USA)
Bhutanese Guitar improviser Tashi Dorji has an uncanny ability to access an exceptionally wide range of moods and sounds that help to express the confusion, rage, helplessness and resolve of an immigrant in America today. His last LP, Stateless, was a brilliant and near hour-long set of improvisations that found new ways to shed light on our "bleak modern lifescape".

Jesse Beaman (NIC/USA)
Jesse Beaman is a contemporary composer adept at making beautiful walls of sound. On this tour he performs a set of intimate piano and keyboard-based ambient works using percussion and looping instruments that create an immersive audiovisual experience. Previously known as My Empty Phantom, his latest album ‘MIRA’ was produced by Brandon Curtis of INTERPOL.
