In the month of March, under the dreamy and intuitive sign of Pisces, there will be a screening of Dreaming & Dying (2022), a poetic meditation on time and emotion. As a water sign, Pisces embodies themes of memory, longing, and transcendence—qualities that flow through this film and shape the program’s exploration of where cinema and astrology intertwine, creating a space for reflection, discovery, and connection.

The debut feature of Singaporean director Nelson Yeo, the movie follows three middle-aged friends reuniting after years apart. What begins as a nostalgic gathering soon takes an unexpected turn when a long-buried secret from their past resurfaces.

The film had its world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival in August 2023, where it won the Golden Leopard – Filmmakers of the Present and the Swatch First Feature Award.
