A group exhibition that prepares us for other “normals" to come.
In the wake of the century’s gravest global health crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, our interconnectedness and societal intricacies were starkly illuminated.
As we yearn to move beyond the pandemic’s shadow, we must pause and reflect. Our innate desire for normalcy, safety, and certainty led us to seek a new "normal" in the face of this global outbreak.
Yet, with the coronavirus waning, a vital question remains: have we truly returned to the old normal, or do we dwell in a new paradigm? Before we rush to embrace another version of normal, we must create space for reflection, preserving the profound lessons we’ve learned.
Join us at "Between Normals" where we will navigate the evolving landscape of normals together.
Between Normals consists of a group exhibition and program that explore some of the insights brought by this pandemic — once called "the new normal" — to help us prepare for other "normals" to come. Combining a variety of media, from installations and videos to paintings and posters, the exhibition focuses on the responses of nineteen artists, designers, and illustrators to COVID-19. These responses go beyond the health effects of the virus. They explore other areas of our lives directly affected by this global outbreak and contribute to the interpretation, visualization, and expression of its social impact.

The program will consist of two talks on November 18 and 25. Additionally, there will be guided tours where visitors will have the chance to hear more about the exhibited artworks and share their own pandemic experiences.
