Creating Homes Club Night

w/ Zena-Rae, ADIË & Camy Hout
Club - Fri 16 June 2023
WORM Rotterdam
WORM Central Station
Start → 23:00
End → 05:00

As part of the festival Creating homes, we invite you to another composite space: a club and performance night where safety, family, culture and party come together.

Creating homes will bring you to dance on different genres of music, read zines from local artists, be stimulated by video visuals, and look at various performances.

Young Hoops will present a LED hula hoop act, and the collective Ninngouu prepared a surprise performance.

Video art from Stiofan O’Ceallaigh will be screened during the party.

Kicking the night off we have music from the talented Zena-Rae mixing acid, ghetto and deep house as well as eurodance, trance and UK garage. Then the amazing ADIË will get your blood flowing with a mix of 90s rave classics, high-bpm techno, gabber hardcore.
Finally for closing we have Camy Hout bringing us some EBM, synthpunk, and wave music to finish the evening.

Good to know: our beauty salon will be running until 23h30, which makes it a perfect timing for you if you want a fresh hair-cut, a personalised perfume, a tattoo or a relaxing massage before the party!

In order to keep the space as safe as we can, a team of floor angels will be there all night long. We apply a zero tolerance policy concerning inappropriate behaviours and discrimination.
Our team offers a "walk home together" after this event. If you feel unsafe to going home alone, share your live location with us and one of our team member will virtually walk with you.

About Squish
Squish is a queer and feminist cultural platform supporting culture-makers belonging to gender and sexual minorities. Through the use of multidisciplinary events, mainly exhibitions and movie nights, the organisation questions identity politics by applying an intersectional approach. Therefore, attempting to redefine and question contemporary proletariat, the organisation shares perspectives from queer folks, working class makers, non-Dutch and non-white people, and gender minorities, emphasising self-representation. Combining research-based and nonacademic approaches, the organisation mixes entertainment, arts, and community support.
