Start with chess. ♟️Stay for the people.

On 15 February, Check Mates returns, this time at Wunderbar.
Same rhythm, new location. A few games, thoughtful matching, and enough space to actually hang out, fully analogue.

All levels are welcome. Beginners to 2000+ elo.
Social comes first.

Chess has only 6 different pieces, yet after just 3 moves there are already 9+ million possible positions. Easy to start. Endless once you’re in.
