Explore a powerful story of beauty, dignity and resistance through the lens of Wahaj Bani Moufleh (وهاج بني مفلح), in his first solo photo exhibition in The Netherlands, All Eyes….
From the 6th of June – 23rd of June.
Wahaj Bani Moufleh is a Beita (Westbank) based human rights defender, photographer and photojournalist. Through his lens, audience get a glimpse of his lived experience of the Westbank and other parts of Palestine.
"My goal is to share the message of Palestine so the world can see what happens in Beita and Palestina. To show the countless crimes of occupation. The world is silent on the crimes they see happening. I work to incite change, to make impact so in the future people can say that there was someone who tried to contribute to change. My work is untraditional, I try to bring across the message of the Palestinians through a lens of humanity and on the other hand I’m trying to document the war crimes of occupation of the West Bank and Palestina."
In addition to the exhibition, WORM will be hosting a live event programme alongside Wahaj’s works together with multiple organisations and initiatives that stand in name of and in solidarity with Palestine. We invite the public to immerse themselves in Palestine culture and history with stories, communities, conversation, food and fundraising.
Keep your eye on WORM’s instagram and programme page to stay updated on all events!
