ACHTERBAN brings artistic fantasy to WORM.

Expect avant garde club music fused with exciting visuals and performances.

The night begins with the dj debut of the versatile NOA. Expect a selection of dreamy electronics: Pelgrim follows up with some heavy duty breaks. Later, Umbra will debut their live show, full of "widescreen" music complemented with stunning visuals. The last two hours or so will be filled with ghetto house, 90’s rave and pumping electro, provided by the up-and-coming Rotterdam locals Tjetjoebetja, Kimmah and Arrocha.

During the whole night a selected group of local artists will exhibit their works on the dance floor. Jane Bergkotte will provide us with an interactive visual experience, where he combines analogue with digital content. Wunderbar local Amdé will create an expressionistic painting on the spot, while Studio Robine exhibits stunning large scale acrylic works.

Fusing contemporary art with nightlife or bringing a rich musical landscape to your local artspace, Achterban sees art disciplines as different ingredients just waiting to be combined into interesting flavours.
