**Minor Gestures, Major Questions: **WORM x Amarte 2025: Four Collectives. Three Workshops Each. One Playful Publication.

What happens when goblins feast, waste sings, children govern, and soft tissues heal? This February, WORM x Amarte invite you to the launch of a publication born from four artistic experiments and collective effort.

Throughout November, Goblin Feast, Wastewaves, Bolotsa Collective, and SOUPSPOON Collective transformed WORM into a laboratory of collective imagination. Across twelve workshops, these artist collectives explored the mythical and the material, the sonic and the political, the bodily and the environmental.

Goblin Feast (Carla Menas, Chris Nelck, Mila Toneva, Paul Smullenberg) conjured up mischievous rituals and fantastical dishes, celebrating the vague and the dirty through 1970s-inspired dinner party performances.
Wastewaves (Nina Blume, Cara Mayer, Robin Vandenbussche, Martijn van de Wiele, Lisa van Heyden) used DIY contact microphones to make Rotterdam’s waste infrastructure audible, creating sonic sketches that exposed the power relations buried in the noise of the city’s AVR waste-to-energy incinerator.
Bolotsa Collective (Sonya, Egor, Sema, Tonya) established a fictitious political party inspired by the radical figure of the free child , unafraid of cringe and full of rebellious curiosity.
SOUPSPOON Collective (Maoyi Qiu, Dakota Guo, Avita Maheen, Augustina Cai) cultivated intimate spaces through SOFT TISSUE, treating health as a metaphor for shifting relations in body, environment, and power, moving between hypnosis, collective prescriptions, and compassionate touch.

The publication captures the collaborative and transformative processes of these workshops: a document of feasting, listening, playing, and healing as forms of collective resistance and imagination.

Join us on 6 February at WORM to celebrate this third collaboration between WORM and Amarte Funds and to discover what emerges when artists dare to misbehave, tune in, disrupt and care.
