Self Destructive Book Club — Failure
Welcome to the WORM Pirate Bay’s Self Destructing Book Club!
Usually a book club will choose a book to collectively read together. Here at WORM, we want to bring in collective knowledge. We would like every person who joins to bring a different text (from a book, instagram post, zine, article, etc) that connects to the theme of the evening. The only rule is that two people cannot bring the same text.
This edition’s theme is Failure.
Some things that we are curious about: We communicate more easily about our successes than our failures. But how can we embrace and celebrate failure? What value can we find in failure? And how can we turn shame and fear and failure into mutual understanding and taking action together?
