Radio WORM call for new shows

It’s time! Radio WORM is accepting proposals for new radio shows, for the 2026-27 season. Submit your proposal before midnight CEST, Sunday 21 June.

What we’re looking for →

We want to share sounds and ideas that aren’t heard enough elsewhere. We get excited about sound art and experimental audio of all kinds, including radio plays, narrative or discussion shows, as well as selections by possessed diggers and starting selectors. We also aim to support Rotterdam makers at all levels. No prior radio experience is necessary, but curiosity and commitment are essential.

How it works →

Shows can be made live in our studio, or pre-recorded elsewhere. You can choose to make shows once per 4 weeks, or once per 8 weeks, from September 2026 to July 2027. Toward the end of the season, we decide together whether to extend your show into another season.

All radiomakers using the studio receive a technical intro prior to their first show. There are no studio volunteers, we give you the basic skills and confidence to produce your own live show. Technical info is listed in the proposals form.

How to apply →

From Sunday 24 May to Sunday 21 June, our proposals form is open here.

All proposals are read by Radio WORM’s programmer, intern, and volunteer guest-programmers. We delight in hearing about your niche knowledge, specific fascinations, and big ideas: expressed in the way only you can. No AI waffle or generic DJ bios thanks.
