Get to know Matthias Carter, one of our music programmers, a little more closely.

WORM first crossed paths with Matthias when he joined our team as a production intern and artist handler. Not long after, he programmed his first event here, a Valentine’s Day edition of our music series Snackbar, and hasn’t looked back since. With a deep knowledge of the underground in the Netherlands and beyond, Matthias curates line-ups that highlight the raw, the loud, and the unexpected.

Journalist Quincy Fortes from 3 voor 12 sat down with Matthias to talk about his journey, what he loves (and critiques) about the Rotterdam scene, and why filming bands with dusty old VHS cameras is still a powerful tool.
