Johan Gijsen – interim bestuurder WORM

WORM kondigt met plezier Johan Gijsen aan als interim bestuurder.

Johan begint als interim op 1 november aanstaande, tot mei 2023.

Johan heeft een lange en succesvolle carrière als programmamaker voor Tivoli in Utrecht en is onder andere oprichter en jarenlange directeur van het internationale festival Le Guess Who?

Johan volgt Janpier Brands op, die zich voor de Hogeschool Rotterdam gaat inzetten bij de totstandkoming van de Cultuur&Campus in Rotterdam Zuid.

WORM is pleased to announce Johan Gijsen as Interim-Director.

Johan will take the role until the spring of 2023.

Johan has an established and very successful track record in the Creative Events sector, firstly as a programmer of Tivoli, Utrecht and more recently as co-founder and director of that city’s internationally renowned Le Guess Who? festival.

Johan Gijsen succeeds the outgoing director, Janpier Brands, who takes up a position at Hogeschool Rotterdam, where he will be one of the initiators for the Cultuur&Campus in Rotterdam Zuid.
