WORM wordt als het aan de Raad voor Cultuur ligt vanaf 2021 opgenomen in de Nederlandse Basis Infrastructuur voor Culturele Instellingen. Behalve een jaarlijkse bijdrage van € 324,776,23 vinden we de erkenning voor WORM als ‘instelling met een landelijke voorbeeldfunctie voor het actief opzoeken van de grenzen tussen genres en disciplines en voor onze bijdrage aan het maken en tonen van alternatieve kunstvormen die elders vaak geen podium krijgen‘ hartverwarmend.
We zijn erg trots op dit advies en danken alles en iedereen die geeft bijgedragen aan deze erkenning, in het bijzonder onze medewerkers, partners en makers en iedereen die ons de afgelopen jaren heeft gesteund. We gaan er wat moois van maken!

Good news!
On the advice of the national Council for Culture, WORM is included in the Dutch Basic Infrastructure for Cultural Institutions from 2021. In addition to an annual contribution of € 324,776.23, we find the recognition for WORM “as an institution with a national exemplary function for actively exploring the boundaries between genres and disciplines and for our contribution to creating and displaying alternative art forms that often lack a stage elsewhere” particularly heartwarming.
We are very proud of this advice and thank everyone who has contributed to us gaining such recognition, in particular our employees, partners and creators and everyone who has supported us in recent years. We are going to make something beautiful from all of this!
