WORM host The Quietus Day Festival
The Quietus and WORM are happy to announce a one-day festival in October. According to The Quietus,
“The festival will play host to Mike Watt’s rock opera, Il Sogno Del Marinaio, which will also feature Andrea Belfi & Stefano Pilia. There will also be noisepop from Bonne Aparte, post-punk from Manchester’s ILL and our very own John Doran reading from his book, Jolly Lad. Belgium’s The Germans have also been announced for the one-dayer.”
We wanted to question the normal, established relationship between a respected music paper and a festival. Who is the master and who is the servant in this relationship?
There are more names to come. So keep an eye on WORM’s events page.
