TEC ART Cultfilm: Hardware

(Richard Stanley, 1990, USA, 94min)

Hardware is an impressive cult classic and as relevant as a film can be after its 25 birthday.

Dating from 1990 the film escaped CGI and computer animation, only to gain a fantastic DIY low-fi look.

The story: the head of cyborg is found by a scavenger in a post-apocalyptic world and regenerates itself from scrap material to cause destruction and mayhem.

Robotica has become part of our everyday life and we are close to witnessing a large scale event where the whole world blows up into small fucking pieces. Until then.. join us on a Cultfilm screening at WORM with partners-in-cyber-crime TEC ART festival! And don’t miss the cameos of Iggy Pop and Motorhead’s Lemmy.
