Field Recordings #2 Day 1

An exploration of contempory anthropological cinema and landscape film

Field Recordings is back: in the weekend of 8, 9 and 10 November, WORM in Rotterdam exploring experimental film, anthropological cinema and landscape film.

The second edition of Field Recordings examines the intersection between people, culture and landscape. We ask, How does our environment shape our thinking and behavior? Who decides how we engage the earth and each other? And what role does film play in our representation of natural and built environment – and everything in between? Field Recordings addresses the history of anthropology with a program of critical films about representation, place and language.
